IMPOSSIBLE BUT TRUE (2024)
Brooklyn Tavern Theater brought back our classic immersive show set in the Revolutionary War (1775/1795). Loosely based on Washington Irving's "Rip Van Winkle," it follows Rip and his town as they question what is possible. With a cast of nine including RJ Christian as Rip, Laura Bright as Rebecca and Cullen Hussey as Henry Hudson, the show played at Old Stone House, Balboa and Brooklyn Art Haus in October of 2024. Flipmaster Kim Allen served up the pre-show colonial beverage ("Flip") at the Old Stone House and BAH.

THE JOE HILL REVIVAL (2023)
came to Brooklyn Art Haus, Edie Jo's and the Puffin Cultural Forum featuring Caitlin Caruso Dobbs and Aaron de Rose. This original musical tells the story of Swedish immigrant, songwriter and labor activist Joe Hill, who was executed by the state of Utah in 1915. It puts forward links between those times and what we're living through today--and there are many! Accompanied by a band of piano, bass, banjo and drums, Joe Hill's songs and story is revived in the musical language of today.
Brooklyn Tavern Theater's goal is to bring this show to bigger stages. Help us get there if you can!
